• Question: what is the wow signal

      The Wow signal was a radio signal detected by a massive telescope in America in the 1970s. They believed it could be from aliens as it wasn’t human in origin an came from outside our solar system. It looked deliberately made, which is why they thought it wasn’t just a random signal. The scientist that saw it , Jerry R. Ehman, circled it and wrote WOW which is why it is called the Wow signal.
      Noone has been able to detect anything like it again, but they have tried! They also think it might not be aliens, but due to comets passing by the radio waves. I guess we won’t really know unless we can detect it again – it is a mystery!
