• Question: how many moons are there in the solar system

      This isnt really my area so I googled it! ha 🙂

      Apparently there are over 100!!! I had no idea! According to NASA they go like this:

      Mercury — 0 moons 🙁
      Venus — 0 moons 🙁
      Earth — 1 moon
      Mars — 2 moons!
      Jupiter — 50 moons!! What?!
      Saturn — 53 moons!! And that’s not including its’ rings either!
      Uranus — 27 moons!
      Neptune — 13 moons

      There are another 27 “unconfirmed” moons because we dont have enough info on them yet. I got all this info here if you want to take a look:

      Also, while we’re on this, why did we name all the planets in our solar system after gods but then basically name our own planet after dirt?

      I heard there was a good restaurant on the moon, but when I went there was no atmosphere!
