What a sweet question, and one with so many answers. What do you mean by ‘end’ and by ‘world’. Do you mean the universe but ‘world’, if so, we don’t really know and we don’t know how either, maybe ‘heat death’, where everything just sort of turns into heat and spreads out forever and ever, ‘the big crunch’ a sort of snap back from the Big Bang and a subsequent squishing of everything to nothing etc. Both of those things though will happen much much later than after the Earth is dead and gone, and if we don’t get off this rock soon then that’s all that will matter. Looking at recent projections from the Paris climate conference indicates we’ll all be dead in a bout 50 years if we don’t do something about climate change and that of course requires radical economics and scientific revolution – so go do it kid, we’re looking at you!
The ones towards the bottom are probably the most interesting, the one I would pick to answer your question is ~ 5 billion years, when the sun will swell into a red giant and burning/swallowing the earth.
If we rule out apocalypse, super volcanoes, alien attack, sudden black holes, super diseases, the end of the world is essentially so far away that we don’t need to worry about it!
