• Question: Hello, What is the rarest species of plant by that i mean with the least number of actual plants.

      Hi Donald (if that is your real name!)

      I had to look this up, as it is not my area of expertise, but I discovered Attenborough’s pitcher plant (named after David Attenborough). It is only found on the summit of Mount Victoria in the Philippines. There are thought to be only a few hundred of them.
      Pitcher plants are carnivorous plants that trap animals in liquid-filled bowls called pitchers, and this is so big that it can catch insects and rats! It is a plant that eat rats!!
