We need education to learn lots of things.
We need knowledge about how the world works, how our bodies work, how money works, and lots of other things. If we didn’t have education, we wouldnt be able to read, or write, or count. It is so important!

Education is also there to teach us other things. Like how to be sociable, and make friends. How to be critical, and form our own opinions about things, how to interact with others. It is so important for all of our lives! Also, for jobs like being a doctor, education is important so they can learn how the body works and how to fix it when it goes wrong. Without education, we would die much younger then we do!

Society is built on the idea that everyone has the right for an education. School may not be fun 100% of the time, but if people don’t get a proper education it can result in all kinds of ignorance and we’d lose the progress that science gives to society.

Being human is all about being educated, we’ve build up a culture to stand on the idea that everyone has at least a basic education, otherwise you’d have a hard time making a living in this world 😀

What would we know without education? We wouldnt be able to read, write or add up; we’d probably be very socially awkward too because we wouldnt have had to mix with lots of other people from a young age. Plus a lot of our technology that we take for granted now we probably wouldnt have! Its very important 🙂
