• Question: what is so interesting about white blood cells?

      I think they are cool, because there so lots of different types that do lots of different things, and without them we would not survive!
      They eat and remove bacteria and dying cells, they release chemicals that can change how other cells work, they activate other parts of your immune system. They stop you getting sick!

      I have also studied them for the last 8 years, and when you study something so closely, you tend to make them your favourite cell 🙂
