      Hi Stormzy,

      I don’t think it’s comparable most of the time as we all try to work on different problems, so it’s like apples and pears. That isn’t to say that groups working on similar problems don’t have any rivalry and don’t think that the other group is asking the completely wrong questions! However, the work is mostly collaborative and people don’t really compete other than to publish first!

      Of course the real test is whether your work is repeatable and others think it’s worth sharing and working on, then you know you’ve done well.
