Yes it is fun! Most of the time anyway.

When you are designing experiments, it gets exciting to think of the cool things that you could find out. Then actually doing the experiment can either be fun (if it is new and exciting), or can be a bit boring, as sometimes they are repetitive. But then you get to see the results, and that is my favourite part! You get to see something that noone has ever done before which is great.

I also love learning, so I find the whole process quite fun.
You work with other people who are interested in the same things as you, and I am friends with all my colleagues. It means going to work is like hanging out with your friends all day, which is pretty cool!

      Science is loads of fun!

My favourite thing to do is use microscopes to peer inside the secret life of cells.

      Of course!

The most important thing about a job is that you find it fun, otherwise every day would be so boring! As a scientists I get to answer all sorts of questions and perform all sorts of experiments, it can be really hard at times but it’s also rewarding 🙂

Yeah it can be! Science has loads of different areas so it’s important to find the bit you like and enjoy 🙂
