      Hi Sotrmzy,

No not in a million years – the EU is the most fantastic body for a load of things and reasons, not least the funding to the sciences. Our country has a terrible record of funding the sciences. Pretty much everyone in my group is funded by EU money and some are company funded, so not much comes from the UK. If we didn’t have the EU not much science, or many other things like farming/fishing/artworks get done in the UK. Also the EU is about cooperation and enshrining certain hard won working and human rights in law! It’s a monumental test eminent to our ability to work together for a better vision of the future. Also, if there are things wrong with it, then we have to remain to change those things, not run away!

The office is quiet yes – we have to be as its shared and we all need to work, but when someone passes there Viva, the exam for becoming a doctor, we always have a party in the office in the evening!

      Hope that helps?
