• Question: do you believe aliens exist? if so do you think they have the stereotypical look? I think aliens are much more intelligent than us and will come to us first considering we have army's and raf they'll probably fight back therefore we'll see them as enemy's. for all we know they could be smart enough to have known about us for ages.

I think that conditions for life to evolve are extremely rare, but the number of starts is extremely high, so statistically it’s likely that aliens do exist somewhere, even if we never see them.

I don’t think we’ll be able to predict how they look, however, that is what we mean by ‘alien’ 😀

You may have been watching too much Independence Day however 😛

I think life on other planets must exist somewhere! Researchers have estimated there to be about 40 billion earth sized planets at a similar distance from their stars just within our galaxy, and they estimate there to be 100 to 200 BILLION galaxies in the universe. So the odds are pretty high that there is, has been, or will be life somewhere! However the distances between planets, stars and galaxies are huge and would take enormous amounts of time to travel! So i think if there was intelligent life out there, with the ability to travel in space, we’re unlikely to ever meet them in our lifetime!

Plus, alien life doesnt just mean dudes with giant heads and laser guns, its probably more likely to be bacteria, etc. Lets not forget that the earth has been around for 4.5 billion years, and it took about a billion years for bacteria to evolve, so things happen quite slowly! It would be a massive coincidence if life at a similar stage of evolution lived on a planet within reach of ours (even with super fast travel-at-the-speed-of-light spaceships) and managed to find us amongst the billions of other similar planets … I think youre safe for now 😉

Like the others said, I think aliens defiantly exist! There are too many stars and too many planets out there for them to statistically not to exist. I think they might be very different to us, they may have evolved to breathe nitrogen, or all live underwater and have gills, or be 10ft tall. Or be at a different stage to evolution to us, and just be bacteria. We just don’t know until we find them!

I don’t think we will make contact in our lifetimes, because they would be so far away! If there were aliens on a planet 80 million light years away, and they had a telescope looking at earth, they would see the dinosaurs right now! So even if we spotted something, they might be way more advanced then what we saw. We’d need to work out how to go at warp speed to get somewhere and find out!
